Bruce Robertson and Bob Sinclair started Robertson and Sinclair in 1961 as a small saw doctor operation. The business quickly developed into one of the pre-eminent suppliers of sharpening, industrial tooling and machinery to the woodworking, plastics and aluminium industries. Today the business remains 100% New Zealand owned and operated.
As well as three North Island branches and a South Island Branch, the well-established national distribution network of Robertson and Sinclair allows all of New Zealand access to its vast selection of high quality branded products, technical knowledge and support.

Today the company has four branches (Penrose, North Harbour, Hamilton and Christchurch) and a broad product range of tooling, woodworking machines and sharpening services. |
